Gleneagles is taking the necessary steps to prepare for a potential surge in the presence of Coronavirus (COVID-19).
At this time, Gleneagles is unable to test for Coronavirus (COVID-19).
Guidance from the CDC changes quickly and we are monitoring their updates and making adjustments as required. As of today, we do not have any confirmed cases in Alabama but anticipate we will.

Following CDC guidance for direction of patients meeting COVID-19 risk criteria including fever, cough and shortness of breath.
* We encourage mildly ill patients to stay at home and contact us by phone for guidance.
* Patients with severe symptoms, such as difficulty breathing, should seek care immediately in an emergency department.
*Older patients and individuals who have underlying medical conditions or are immunocompromised should contact us early in the course of even mild symptoms for guidance.

Our goal is to protect you and our employees as much as possible.

In the office we have:
*Separate waiting rooms for sick and well visits
*All surfaces will be sanitized appropriately between patients
*Any one with a cough or fever will be required to wear a mask
