Chrissy Moorer, 
CRNP

Chrissy has been with our team at Gleneagles Family Medicine for over five years after working in Women’s Health for over eight years. Previously, Chrissy worked as a Labor and Delivery nurse at Huntsville Hospital, then served as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Auburn University and went on to complete her Masters of Science in Nursing with a focus in Family Practice from The University of Alabama at Birmingham, graduating summa cum laude. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and licensed with the Alabama Board of Nursing. Chrissy’s special medical interests include women’s health and wellness, female adolescent health, and educating her patients on preventative health. She is passionate about listening to her patients and involving them in their care.

 

Chrissy grew up in Florence, Alabama and after completing her education at Auburn, moved to Huntsville. She and her husband Tyler have two children, Carter and Ava and a Goldendoodle, River. They currently reside in Owens Cross Roads and are active members of Mayfair Church of Christ. Chrissy enjoys spending time with her family, taking part in her church, Auburn football and basketball, playing tennis, exercising, and volunteering with her children’s school and sports activities.
