Christopher Johnson, MD
We are honored to welcome Dr. Christopher Johnson to the Gleneagles Family Medicine Practice. Dr. Johnson will begin seeing patients in office starting August 2023.
Dr. Johnson is board certified in Family Medicine and is passionate about preventive medicine and evidence-based care. He is excited to plant roots in this community and serve the wonderful people of Huntsville.

Michael F. Carter, MD
Dr. Carter is a Huntsville native and has been in private practice serving the Huntsville community since August of 2000 at Gleneagles Family Medicine. His mission is to provide personalized health care with exceptional service in a warm and welcoming environment to meet the needs of both mind and body and promote a healthier life.
Dr. Carter graduated from Auburn University before completing med school at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and residency in family medicine at UAB Huntsville.
Brittany joined Gleneagles Family Medicine in 2014. She goes above and beyond for her team and her patients, working to ensure compassionate care is delivered with accuracy and promptness. In addition to her clinical role, Brittany spends many hours reviewing and improving policies and procedures, leading our Nurse Practitioners in providing excellent care.

Ashley joined Gleneagles Family Medicine in 2014. She oversees the day-to-day operations and ensures clinical and administrative processes are running smoothly and efficiently. With extensive knowledge and experience both clinically and administratively, Ashley provides invaluable support and leadership for our staff and our company.
Nurse Practitioners
Dr. Carter has four nurse practitioners that work as part of his care team at Gleneagles Family Medicine. The nurse practitioners are available to perform yearly physicals, lab rechecks, and same-day sick visits. Since Dr. Carter's schedule stays very full, the nurse practitioners enable sick patients to be seen with same-day or next-day appointments in collaboration with Dr. Carter.
